Kochattante Kolayi
A living canvas of nature & nostalgia, rooted in Kerala's timeless agricultural heritage.
Nestled in the lush folds of Pustaka Gramam — "the village of books" — just a short drive from Kottarakara town, KoKo is a working farm rooted in the rhythms of traditional Kerala agriculture.
Here, banana groves rustle in the afternoon breeze, pepper vines climb ancient trees, and papaya gardens glow golden at harvest time. Our dream is simple: to invite you to slow down, get your feet muddy, and experience the warmth of village life — the way it has always been.
Kochattan — our resident village elder and your guide — knows every corner of this land and every story it holds. He can't wait to show you around.
Every visit to KoKo is an invitation to live the village — not just visit it. Here's a glimpse of what Kochattan has planned for you.

Cook a Kerala meal using ingredients picked fresh from the farm — banana, pepper, coconut, and more.

Pedal along with Kochattan on a guided cycle tour through village lanes and farm boundaries.

KoKo is not just a farm — it's a living celebration of Kerala's village culture, seasons, and soul.
Celebrate the harvest festival with a grand sadhya on banana leaves, pookalam designs, Thiruvathira, and traditional games in the open village air.
Welcome the Malayalam New Year with a Vishukkani — the auspicious first sight of gold, fruits, and flowers arranged at dawn on the farm.
Kalari warm-ups, kambadakali, uriyadi, and tug-of-war under the shade of old mango trees. Village games the whole family can join.
Kanji with pappadom, chakka curry, nadan beef fry, puttu-kadala, and fresh toddy coconut served straight from the farm — real Kerala food.
"Come with muddy feet, leave with a full heart. That is the promise of Pustaka Gramam." — Kochattan
